Regulars in the room have been constantly doxing/harassing other regulars in the room for the past year now and I'm the one that gets caught in the middle of all the drama this causes.  I got tired of dealing with it, so I killed the room.  This was my motivation for killing TPS too.  You guys can organize chats on the forums if you want, but I'm not going to list them anywhere else.   I just don't want to run a community anymore because then I feel responsible for the inevitable phone harassment that happens to the people who are deemed not cool enough to hang out in our room.

That's totally understandable.. really you've been running this thing for several years now and honestly things like that you just have to step away from after a while and keep life fresh.

I've run some community based type things in the past decade of my life and its weird how being at the head of it all is a totally different experience than everyone else gets. People want you to keep going but when its run its course for you, you know it and its time to do something else... otherwise you just end up feeling like you never want to do it and its more of a situation you just feel stuck in, and its weird how it takes so long to really acknowledge that you're not into it any more.

And it is strange / kind of shitty how any time you get a community going, people latch on to it as a reason to feel special, but then act like because they are special they are so much cooler than anyone else who comes along after themselves.

I mean this is a community of self proclaimed "losers" and to turn around and harshly reject another person because they are a "loser" seems kinda obviously a demonstration of using the community as a means to feel like the cool person, instead of what it should be..

I wanted to post something along these lines, but damnit if Markov beat me to it. But these are the reasons I rarely conf, join in on TPS or Tinychat. Constantly doxing people got fucking old when I was 17, my information is fairly public, I've met enough people from this forum that a handful of you cats know me on a first name basis.

Hold on, I'm coming back and bringing my point with me.

You don't want these forums to turn into another PrankNet/Prank U. thing where one person does something stupid and Brad gets arrested for it.

Thanks for being understanding, guyz!  I feel like a drama queen yanking all my shit down and I'm really going to miss doing the live show a lot.  I'm hoping after a year or two hiatus, assuming I haven't died of old age yet, I'll start up a live thing again.
