Changes to the PLA Forums

I'm liking this one better than yesterday's brown.  Should I attempt to change the light greys of the threads into light browns?  Or just leave it grey?

Also, LordNod, I don't see a yellow cell at the bottom.  Is it still there?

In threads you'll see it below the quick reply box. As far as changing the greys I would say go for it. The worst that happens is it sucks and you have to change it back.

Okay, I just turned most (all?) of the grey into shades of brown.  Is this better or worse?  Are the shades of brown out of control?

I should make the title logo a big, long turd to match the color scheme.

Are you going to change the cell borders around posts to the same dark gray as the rest of the cells? Turn them to zero? Either would look FRESH TA DEF! That's just my opinion though. I like it the way it is too though.

I would love to turn all those #FFFFFF borders to #000000 but I can't seem to find where that code is located.  I tried to do that two years ago.  Maybe I'll try harder tonight.

EDIT: Whoa, I found it.  And now that it's done, I don't think I like it.  It looks find of boxy now.  Maybe I'm just not used to it.

Yeah. Try #828181. It's the same one that is around the other cells. You might need to darken the horizontal rule that separates sig lines from posts to #404040 though. Or you can leave it the same and I think it'll look like it sticks off the side of the cell because it's the same color.

I just noticed when I went to the index page that there's supposed to be two colors at the top and bottom. There should be a light boarder that goes all the way around and a dark on that's only at the very top and the very bottom of the main cell.

I think Lord Nod needs to change his avatar back to whatever it was, because now I have to think of him as that crazy asian kid on his current avatar. *sigh* oh well....
