How to deal with being new on the PLA forums.
« on: December 01, 2012, 02:17:39 PM »
When most people join a forum, they go to that designated thread where they make their first dumb post about themselves something like "Hi I'm Chris".
I am just going to ask:
1: Can I start a thread on ideas for funny PLA bumper sticker slogans?
2: If I had an excel sheet full of addresses and phone numbers for a large regional supermarket chain, who can I send it to?
3: Is it okay to sell knockoff PLA merchandise at cut-rate prices?
4: Cactus?

0: There is an introduction thread right here http://www.phonelosers.com/index.php?topic=659.0
Not only is it a sticky but it is the first one on this board.
1:I assume you could start a thread like that in the same way you started this one and a few others
2:I would read the rules first, but I think there is something about posting personal information. Although you might be able to invite people to PM you for it or something and you can send it to them.
3: What is your obsession with ripping off Brads intellectual property and asking him permission. If you are going to do it just do it, then tell him about it.

0: I'm telling you, intro threads are lame, It's the board equivalent of "To start out, lets go around the room and tell everyone your name, favorite color, and the most memorable moment from 4th grade."
1: You know what, I think I will start some threads.
2: I know you can't post personal information. This is an Excel sheet of stores. All the info on it is available from the store's website anyway.
3: Hey man, keep it down, it's not not like I'm dealing drugs, but, uh, if you want half-price stickers, let me know, and I'll get in touch with my dealer.
4: Cactus!

The first thing you want to do to deal with being new on the PLA forums is to practice spending a lot of time just staring at your wall. Not your facebook wall, the wall next to you in your room. This will get you used to the level of activity you will be absorbed in on the forums

That's not even proper html code. You didn't include the doctype, header, body tags and all that nonsense.

I'm a phone loser, not necessarily a web developer.  *eatarrow*
