I just got an email from the webmaster of this site:

He wants to link swap with me.  I'm not sure if it's an automated link swap request like I get all the time or not.    But the site design is awesome.  And the service is...interesting.  Apparently it lets you submit a number of someone you hate and the service harasses them forever.  In the "about" section it says this:

Once a phone number is submitted for bombing, a team consisting of both staff members and users call using computer programs, relentlessly, for as long as they feel like. Simple as that. No questions. No joke.

DO NOT submit your own phone number as a test, as you will be called relentlessly.


And here's the FAQ:

Q: What's the risk?

A: There is none! Just submit the phone number of a person who you hate or want revenge on. Has someone been giving you hell at school? Get fired from your job? Girlfriend break up with you? Fuck them over!

Q: What if I don't know their phone number?

A: If you don't know the persons phone number, you can always crack open your phonebook, or use a website such as Yellowpages.com (U.S.) or Yellowpages.ca (Canada) to find their number.

Q: How do I know if it really works?

A: Submit your own number and see what happens...

Q: Isn't this illegal?

A: You would think, but no - not one bit. Since it does not automatically bomb the number, it is legal. Real people are calling the numbers.

Q: What if my phone number is posted and I want it removed?

A: Too bad, motherfucker. Wait it out, or change your phone number.


I'm not going to test this out tonight.  But if anyone else wants to, I'd like to hear the results.  Is this really real?  Or is it just going to spam the number with phone sex ads?  There's a forum on the site, too.  I'm just now starting to read the posts.  But this one is interesting:

Well it says it isnt illegal, but I certainly wouldnt want to host all those phone numbers on my website, where the members are encouraged to harrass the owners of said number.

But then again I have no problem phoning thme  ;D

I'm kinda supprised this hasn't hit digg(or other such sites) yet, but if it did, the thing would be over.
