What's with YouTube lately?  Seems like it takes about 3 times longer to load the video than to play it.  It's a rare thing to be able to just click and watch like I used to.  Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?  My connection to the internet is speedy at everything else, only YouTube is sucking.

Yeah, I've been having the same problem.  I also experience something where the video "skips" as if it's buffering, even though the buffer bar is loaded well beyond the point at which the video is playing.

I think youtube may be getting a bit too big for its britches.  I mean, imagine how many videos are embedded across the `tubes, sucking youtube's bandwidth.

I think I've figured it out.  On your YouTube account settings, there's a place to set your video playback quality.  Set it to low.  So far, the YouTube I know and love is back.  Hopefully it stays this way.
