What have YOU done to promote the PLA lately?

You know, it's not enough for me that this web site is getting more than 5,000 unique visitors a day or that the forums are doing great or that PLA Radio is getting listened to a lot or that the feds are surely keeping their eye on us.  I'm an attention whore and I want more.  I want world domination, endorsements by Nike, and a TV miniseries.  The bigger PLA gets, the more fun this will be.  So let's get started with this...

• Link to phonelosers.org with these images.
• Credit PLA on your suicide note
• Change the homepage to all public access computers to phonelosers.org.
• Slap PLA stickers all over police cars
• Write songs about PLA.  Make sure they become top 40 hits.
• Put stickers/flyers up at pay phones.
• Start a pirate radio station that plays PLA 24/7
• Break a car window with a baseball bat and leave a note that says, "www.phonelosers.org did this."
• Buy an mp3 player, fill it with PLA Radio, return it.
• Spray paint "Phone Losers of America" all over churches and animals.
• Get on the air with call-in shows and drop our URL.
• Make wild claims about the PLA in relation to random wikipedia articles.
• Drop PLA Radio CDRs into random CD players
• Write www.phonelosers.org on all your money.
• Call people on the phone and beg them to visit the site.
• Link to phonelosers.org on your Myspace.
• Put the PLA Radio Myspace in your Top 8
• Force your family to listen to PLA Radio.
• Streak through live news reports, wearing nothing but a PLA shirt.
• SMS random numbers with the URL.
• Take out a full page phonelosers.org ad in the paper

Add some of your own ideas to this list.  Then go do them.  And take pictures/audio/whatever as proof.  Post them here.  Post your sites that link back to phonelosers.org.

I have had 250 PLA Buisness cards printed up and have spread cactus propaganda and PLA buttons around the entire school.
When I get a car, I could get a vanity plate with OMG HAX or Cactus, as they are both still available in MA (so don't go taking them on me!)

I called Adam Curry for you!  And PLA Radio is in my top 8.  I also passed around buttons and stickers at 2600 (but those flyers in San Fran were too embarrassing, sorry).  And I lent you my Russian for your CD cover.  And I made you a few banners.  Okay, so most of it isn't RECENT, but I don't even like phreaking!

I like the money idea though.  I think you should create some PLA desktops and icons.  And do you have any PLA bumper stickers?

Nah, it's a 1968 Dodge Charger.  The kids and I have to climb in through the windows.

Don't forget, you had lots of people from your office listening to PLA Radio too!  And then there's all the pics you took for the PLA Store.  Here's some $1 bills with PLA on them.  Since I only have $1 bills.

That would be the main way to do it, if you want to position the image elsewhere on the screen you can through in some inline CSS.

Put a link on myspace and stuck 60 stickers all around my school and around the neighbor hood

I went into Wally World today, picked up a fone, dialed the intercom extension, and said the following:

"Attention WAL-MART Shoppers! Today's secret word is CACTUS! The first person to go to the Home Entertainment counter and shout out today's secret word will win a FREE REDBOX courtesy of PhoneLosers.org! Remember, the secret word for today is CACTUS." [click]

I then walked to the electronics department. Every one of the employees I saw on the way were muttering about the "new" contest. When I got back to electronics, some woman was ringing the bell and hollering "Cactus! Cactus! Dammit, I said CACTUS!" It was priceless.

Then I went to leave the store. Some guy in a shirt and tie with an employee badge was standing in the middle of the main aisle, talking with a group of employees. I heard him say, "what does cactus mean, anyways? What's the siginficance?" He was facing away from me. I stepped up behind him and said "CACTUS!". He jumped a little. It was kinda funny.

THAT, my friends, is what I did to promote the PLA lately (calls to Qwest TSPS ops asking if they've heard of the PLA notwithstanding).
