It's cool that you like illithids. There's actually a prestige class in either the Complete psionic or the Expanded Psionics Handbook called the Illithid Slayer. I love all psionic classes/races, though. My favorite is the Ardent, though.

I was thinking about getting a pre-made campaign, hopefully for low level characters (anything in the 1-4 range), and I was wondering if anyone here had any recomendations.

Honestly though, make your own. It makes it better all around: you get the joy of making the world, and because it's your own you can work with it and describe it better, making it more enjoyable for the PCs.

Back in the day I always wanted to get in on some dnd, was rejected by the geek circles though.  Torrented lots of the books at one time or another. Bought lots of the l5r books just for the hell of it(same thing as dnd but with samurai's instead).

I've heard of people doing dnd on skype. Would be pretty rad to join in on something like that.
