Any Experience With an Executioner Box?
« on: December 28, 2006, 09:46:11 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with executioner boxes. Ive read this little tut http://www.docdroppers.org/wiki/index.php?title=Executioner_Box_II and was wondering if you could just connect an AC power cord to some alligator clips and then hook it up to the tni box.

I really don't suggest you go sticking your hands around mains. Theoretically, though, it should work. The site tells you to use an AC generator, and considering that your local powerplant is an AC generator, it seems pretty solid to me. Don't do it though, seriously.

Yeah it seems like a bad idea waiting to happen. But would you think it would be because of the fire risk or the electricity risk. Because I'm sure whoever would try this idea would wear rubber gloves and make sure all wires are insulated, same thing with the clips. However I think people would leave it on to long not knowing how damaging it could be.

A lot of reputable sources tell me that the Executioner Box stuff doesn't work. Surge protection or something like that.

Can you say 'electrical fire'?
