Something Terrible

I registered a Something Awful forum account today, don't worry though, I'm still going to primarily post at the PLA    I wanted to know if anyone else has used them, or has comments on it. I loved reading the front page stuff, so I was hoping the forums would add something to it. (yes, I did cough up $10, later to find out you have to pay money for all sorts of things, like avatars) That seems kind of slimy. If you pay $10 for an account you should at least get that for free (DONT GET ANY IDEAS RBCP.)

I don't have a paid account there but I check out the forums every couple days.  There's always good stuff on their forums.  There's no way I'd be able to keep up with all the posts on there, though.

I can barely keep up with the PLA's 200 active members yet the 80,000 goons on the SA forums!

Raptor, go to 4chan.org. If you have the stomach, you will enjoy it much more. Something Awful and 4chan play on the same team, but 4chan doesn't require registration and posts are deleted after being inactive for a short while. That way, you don't have to keep up with all the posts because there are only a few posts at any given time. AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT POST YOUR INFORMATION IN THE EMAIL FIELD.

But if you vomit at the sight of penises*, don't go there.

I'll check out 4chan, but SA just has a unique style of comedy that Is probably semi-hard to re-create
