Some guy I know calls up a Verizon Wireless rep and tells her to transfer him to a Spanish-speaking rep because he doesn't speak any English. It's a complete ripoff of what I used to do to AT&T operators.

I wish my parents encouraged my prank calling habits when I was a kid.

Aren't you 10?

I know. In internet years I'm like 80.

At my call center when people ask me for a spanish speaking rep, I'm happy. It means I get to transfer you, my average handling time goes up, and i get put back into the availibility queue for 10 minutes.

Ditto. I'll even suggest it to people if they seem have trouble finding a word. Usually, they're too embarrassed to take me up on it, but whatever. It works enough.
Edit: Wonderful use of Payton, by the way.
