Payphone outside of Dairy Queen and Corcle K in Port Charlotte, Florida: 941-764-7695. A lot of hot girls (some, but not all, are jailbait though) hang out at the Dairy Queen, who knows, maybe one of them will answer.

Not exactly a payphone, but similar. That's the extension for the courtesy phone in the vending room at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. You call that enough and you'll probably get a nurse or some other employee. Unfortunately it doesn't ring, it just flashes.

Nevermind. Just called them now. Only 3 of them could possibly be payphones, the majority of them were disconnected and a few were reassigned.

The one's I posted are numbers posted on functioning payphones as apparently the number for the phone; I didn't bother to test them because there was a reason I was using payphones if you know what I mean, and calling the numbers would immediately after using them would be a stupid move. The ones other people posted you're on your own on.

I was replying to my own post. The text above replaced said post.

the project that I have been working on at trainphones.nyphonejacks.com i have ANIed most of the phones to obtain their numbers - and have done test calls to the phones... and a good portion of them claim to be not in service when you call into them... so i do not think that getting a NIS recording means that the phone is actually NIS...

have not added much to it because i have usually end up in most of the same subway stations, and when i am in other stations, usually am in too much of a rush to get images of the payphones, and document their numbers...

We talked about why I was calling a payphone, phonelosers.org, and cactuses.

Speaking of payphones, it's a shame to see another one bite the dust, the last surviving one in the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. Even though the COCOTS company that owned it is a rip off; they charged 15.00 to my credit card for a one minute call when I lost my cell phone.

And what did you say?
