What is the best way to fix a hamburger?
« on: March 21, 2007, 05:09:41 PM »
Like what should I put on it? I don't want to hear any bs about how "it's a matter of opinion" or whatever. There's got to be a best way. Is it ketchup, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato and cheese, or am I doing it wrong? I guess what I'm asking is, if Jesus were here, what would He put on his hamburger?

Thanks!

Pork Rinds.

Dear mr_doc,

If I were Jesus, I'd say you want a big fat grilled medium rare burger, beef chuck (mmm fatty goodness), with a soft sesame bun, melted cheddar or american cheese on both sides, with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo.

Oh, and to have it taste REALLY good, have someone else make it for you.  Nothing tastes quite as good when you make it yourself.

Love,
jammie

I am?  I just find that when I cook, I get sick of being by the ingredients so long so I'm not as hungry and the food doesn't taste as good.  Everything is better when I am super hungry and someone hands me something ready-made.

I read that as "large wenches."  I bet they make kick-ass burgers.

Large wenches are probably the best kind.

Try cooking your meat with a blow torch, a friend of mine did this on a camping trip and ended up with food poisoning :D   ( great for a few days of work ( school ))

I've eaten hotdogs I cooked with a blowtorch, and corndogs browned on the outside with a plain old lighter. They tasted a bit carbonized but other than that okay and I never got sick.

You didn't cook the hot dogs, you reheated them...

Hot dogs are precooked.
