whoa. This one had a much higher budget obviously, and the music once more was so intense..
the guy who played begbie from trainspotting robert carlyle is a star in this movie. Also the guy who played mercutio in the new romeo and juliet/Link from the matrix movies was in this film too. Well, as the trailer shows, Robert runs away from his wife and like 372614674 rage infected crazy people are running after him and he gets away. The city gets rebuilt (section by section) and they are on a small island kind of like in the Land Of The Dead movie, surrounded by water and bridges. People come back to England!?!
I mean if that shit ever happened to my city or even state, i would never go back, no matter how much better they made it. And just as in the trailer the infection breaks out. Theres a LOT of action in this film. Theres a TON of blood. The intense song they played at the end of the first film where cillian murphy is running around the house killing military people looking for his friends, gets played like 5 times. I mean i was sitting up throughout the movie, the whole thing was completely intense; i loved it. There was also a hell of a lot more military in this one (i mean they were there to rebuild the place duh..) and also a few 1st person (infected person) sequences that just rocked. The movie rocked, so much shit goes on and so much stuff happens in it that this little review didnt spoil the movie at all, i just recapped the trailer with a few more details. If you are a fan of apocalyptic movies - GO SEE IT.
disclaimer: if you dont like zombie films and never did, or end of the world wtf movies, dont go see it. In fact if you dont like good movies at all dont go see it. i am not responsible for your $8.75 if you read this then dont like it. - i loved it.
