can "feature" be imitated without a meridian phone?
« on: June 04, 2007, 10:11:17 PM »
Hi PLA!

Here's the deal.  This is another one of those school intercom pranks, but I want to do it remotely.  I have tested and know that the intercom code is "feature 630" on a meridian/nortel system.  Is there any way to emulate this (sending a signal tone regularly through a phone line)

tl;dr:
is there a tone for the meridian "feature" button?

Have you tried tapping the line to see if the phone emits any tones on the line when the button is pressed?
