Well, it came. I used it for about 5 minutes on the phone line, and It worked. Then I tried it on another jack, and it wouldn't turn on. I then brought it back to the one that worked, and It seems to be shot. The 8 LED's Light up for about half a second after it's plugged in, then go out. I opened it up and stuck my multimeter in, to find that The LED's were in fact getting power, so maybe they were defective or something. This seems like something really hackable, Or even something you can make yourself at home. All thats in there is a relay for the battery compartment and switch, a Resistor and the Female end of the Power in plug. This leads to two wires heading up toward the LED strip, that contains 8 white LED's in a row.
You could make the power adapter really easily at home, Just take the center two pins of an RJ11 and attach them into a Plug of whatever size you want. I'm hoping to create a USB cellphone charger that plugs into RJ11.
