Online Hacking Simulation Games

An online browser "hacking" game Looks kinda fun. I have been tinkering around with it for a about 15 min and it is a little hard to start out. It uses exaggerated hacking techniques but I guess it can maybe help some people think outside the box when trying to crack a sysyem.

That is more of a hackers training grounds. It teaches and lets you train from doing basic browser attacks to reverse engineering programs to rooting a box. I have played around allot with this site but after about an hour stuck on one of the missions I get frusturated and want to hit my computer.

I havn't heard of slavehack before, i'll have to check it out. As you can tell by my sig im quite familiar with hack this site.

I have passed all of the web missions, and have done most of the realistic missions on www.hackthissite.org This web site is great! The first mission, you have to examine the source code to get the password.

That will be $5.95 please...

I use hackthissite pretty frequently but havent got very far on the missions. i completed basic 1&2 and realistic 1  but thats it. I like how the tutorials dont give answers just clues but i dont think they give enuff clues(except a few of them) I dont mind thinking and trying hard cuz that makes it so much better wwhen i get it, but too much thinking just sux. Im almost done with realistic 2 and im gunna go do realistic 3 right now cuz i think i just figured it out and ive been trying to hack a real site with SQL injections (cuz this guys super racist so im trying to delete his posts and account) but my Phriend says SQL is outdated and prolly wont work. Any suggestions?

Well, if we're talking about actual GAMES, and not wargames(Not nesessarily box-based.>_>)...
Uplink and Street Hacker are the only ones worth mentioning...
Sure, tehre's Hacker and Hacker3000...But these are even worse than Uplink.
Uplink is like a "Hackers" version of hacking...
Street Hacker tries to keep it more realistic, but blows it all up with bruteforcing every pass you need.

For some wierd reason the image validation on the sign up for hackthissite doesn't work for me. Is it because firefox is loosing it's touch or do you have to haxxx to get it?

I think hackthissite is a great place to learn new shit. it teaches you the very basics such as looking at source code, and goes in depth anough to where your able to use your skills for real websitehacking.
