"Heartless prank"
« on: September 12, 2007, 10:34:49 PM »
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22408899-2,00.html

"A HEARTLESS prank has devastated seven families who were made to believe their children had been seriously injured in car accidents.

Two teenage girls have been charged with allegedly calling the families at random in the state's southwest, telling parents their children were fighting for their lives in hospital. "

"..seven counts of giving false information that a person was in danger and seven counts of using a carriage service to menace."

Like, has anyone ever heard of those charges?

I think the real humor is what we've all gotten away with in comparison to the above prank.

No really sir, you have to order a taco...or we'll piss in the drinks.

Hey RijilV,  those taco bell pranks were classic.  When are we gonna see some new material?

They could have charged those pranksters with 'making people feel sad' too so they got off lucky

Teen girls are MEAN.  I remember a few years ago, some teen girls got busted for calling up patients from a doctor's office and telling them that their bloodwork showed that they had AIDS.  Apparently they'd never heard of caller ID before.

Run Forrest, RUN!

Brad Pitt actually improv'd that line, which is completely obvious because it is horribly out of character and out of sync with the rest of the script.

This is true. Can you quote Edward Norton's improv'd line?

Fun trivia I also got from the commentary: In the beginning when Edward Norton gets in his hotel room and turns the tv on, Brad Pit can be seen on the right side as one of the hotel crew saying "Welcome!"

Damn you people, didn't anyone get the significance of my quote??  These parents should be HAPPY that their kids were brought back from the dead.  Just like Raymond K. Hessel got another chance in life by not being shot.
