Hello everyone,

I just wanted all of you to know that I'll be gone for a while.  I've decided to join the Army as an Intelligence Officer.  So, I'll be leaving Tuesday and heading off to Officer Candidate School.  I'm really excited about it, and it'll allow me to have a chance to be trained in some of the greatest computer systems on the planet.

All in all, thanks for the fun, laughs, and overall great conversations.  Most importantly, I'll miss the following in no particular order:

rbcp, murd0c, altalp, gangals, M-26-7, frog, LordNod, Alberta, MattGSX, mr_doc, Tachyon, trevelyn.

Stay awesome, and stay the same.  If I left anyone out, then I apologize.

Smart move. I know a lot of people in the military and the one thing I've heard from everyone was: BE SMART! Go to school, give them a reason to keep you alive.

What they don't have internet at these fancy schmancy schools? You can't write us once in a while? It's not like we love you or anything you know. If you're gonna leave me with this meshugana group and not even drop someone an e-mail to post as an update every once in a while I'm going on a hunger strike. You're not the first one of our little internet community to serve in the military you know? I seem to remember there being at least three or four members of the U.S. Military posting back in the Old School Cal's days.
