Random TNI box locations

I was board today so I decided to make a Brand Spankin new Beige Box.  I was going to test it out on my phone line then I remembered.  My TNI box is in my attic.  There are spiders in my attic.  So I decide against going in my attic.  I think about going over to my friends house.  I call him asking and he says that his is located on the roof.  My grandma's TNI box is the only one on the side of the house.  Does anyone else have any weird locations?

Here in Chicago they're mostly out on the back walls of buildings, either in the alleys or backyards depending on whether the building is set right against the alley.

I live in Orange County!  I think it might be a Verizon thing, I don't know.

I'm in Verizon county and mine is on the side of my house. But it is labeled as "CABLE," for some reason. My house was built 20 years ago though, so maybe it just depends on the age of the place.

Its an OC thing.  My neighbor's TNI box is in the front yard.

Ya, at my old house it was in the front yard(phone, electrical and cable ran underground). My current appartment is all VoIP, but we have an exchange in a manhole convienently in the front of my building.
