hahah thats like the first mp3 i put on my ds you fools! LHAHAHAH

what you should do for nostalgia is rip apart the SvSIP application with something like DSLazy, then change the DTMF's to MF's and make a DS bluebox.
pack it back up with DSLazy THEN save it as BlueBOx.nds and DLDI patch it.  Then, use photoshop to make a cool vintage calculator looking Bluebox for Nupad.png in the SvSIP directory!!
it's beats making a crappy one out of little sound recorders!  Thats cool that someone else thinks of this shit too though!! <3 PLA!!
oh, that vista lookin shit is funky are you using a VNC connection to a vista box?? vnc apps are cool for the DS. - trev.

Does it actually work for red boxing though?  Seems like the tiny DS speakers wouldn't put out enough volume.  Maybe with headphones, though.

it hasnt for me no, but with a pair of headphones i modified it works fine.  It doesnt distort the mp3 that bad.  I tried it with the iPhone speakers too, but no luck.  Those speakers are crap too.  i took a pair of sony headphones and removed one side completely so its like a long cord that goes to a small disc (the speaker) and its worked for the ipod and DS.

You ever notice how you have much more control over the sound system in a machine if you use alsa modules? You can pull the volume up higher and such than you could with the basic drivers provided by windows? Its the same deal really, theres an OS for the DS called Moonshell and you can do the same thing with the volume you can turn it up %400 (sounds like crap though unless you have a nice output source.)

Though, i personally think the Moonshell app is ugly and the interface sucks.  I like DSOrganize the most.

BLASPHEMY!
DSOrganize has no video support, and Shaun said he has no plans to include it because he wouldn't want to watch videos on the tiny screen. BUT I LIKE TO!

I don't like Moonshell's navigation/controls as much, but I think aesthetically it's much nicer.

I'm sorry Trev. You gave me a bunch of my -1 leets when I told you that I was using a Netgear WT111G and trying to get it to work w/ Ubuntu. Can we still be BFF's?

er... WG111T, I think. It's a crappy USB-powered Wi-Fi card no longer marketed by Netgear.

The problem with Atheros' 'Super-G' cards that one of the said advantages is channel bonding, which is useless; it's because the cards still only has a single radio and simply transmits on one channel and receive on a second.

huh???   are you talking about VAPs? Or does each VAP use 2 channels? cos i can break my WEP at Weak-Net using only my Fon router, that I either ssh to or ssh the shitty way with PuTTY.  then, attach to my WEProuter with one VAP and leave the other VAP in AP mode, and unlock the router as if it were a free access point.  I love Atheros based cards, though I have had major issues with injection and scan mode (using both in parallel freezes up my system) with > madwifi-r2717.  Do you use them a lot?  If so, has that happened to you before?

I was talking about wireless cards that advertise they can transmit at 108mb/s

The FON router is just G at the advertised speed of 54mb/s that uses VAPs.
