Vending Machine H4X?

I'm not sure how illegal this can be considered, but there is a vending machine at our school that spits out extra money ($1-$2) if you insert a $5 Dollar bill. (It only accepts ones) Could this exploit potentially get you into trouble?

technically you can get in trouble for doing that, since you depriving the vendor of revenue. no cameras no worries!

That's just about it. A hard-pressed cop could try to charge you with theft (since it's not your money), but as long as they can't prove you exploit it regularly, you can just play stupid. That's what I always do.

Don't worry, I'm done. You really should consider discontinuing use of the ellipses, however (...), and maybe consider incorporating capital letters into your posts. It makes things much simpler to read.

you should start a wiki on proper forum posting, because it's seems to me you make yourself an expert. dude what are you doing wasting your mod time here on the pla, when you could be moderhating over such forums as digg, i'm sure they would appreciate your type of posting skills. though i believe they would think that your moderation skills are suspect, shabby at best. btw, besides pla, where else do show your leet posts, and moderated threads? i would like to see other pieces of your greatness in posting... ... ... .. ....

Illegal or not, your school would surely suspend/expel/kill you if they knew you were doing it.  Schools make their own laws and there's not much you can do about it.  They don't care about fairness.  So if you're going to do it, don't brag about it.  It seems like eventually they would notice that the machine is coming up short and would either fix it or try to catch whoever is putting the $5's in.
