Go To My PC

I was just wondering if anyone has hacked an account on Go To My PC, a company which advertises that you can access your home, work, porn pc, from any computer a neighbors, a hotels, what ever as long as both have internet access. You can access files, run programs, what ever. Seems an easy way to hack especially if all you need to access a PC is an alpha numeric password.

Interestingly enough, I did get an email from GoToMyPC ad from them with the subject "Turn Any Computer into Your Computer".

well it seems that your just going from an advertisement, as in you don't have the service and therefore we don't know if a simple alpha-numeric password is what it needs. for example maybe you'd have to supply your Ip address and/or user name and password for the computer(as the case  with remote desktop connections (mstsc.exe in run) as well as a password for the gotomyPC service

According to http://www.usdoj.gov/criminal/cybercrime/jiangIndict.htm it's not a new idea. If they caught one it means it's been done enough for them to have "figure out" (more or less) the minor kinks in their network by catching people stupid enough to get caught.

From the article, it does suggest that all you need to access another computer is the User and Pass.
