This will only work the first time you go to the DMV, only tried in CA, and know of a lot of people that have tried it in the past with no problem 10 years ago and has been going on for at least 5 years before that.
When you go to the DMV to get your first ID or License you have to bring in your SS card and birth certificate. You bring this info to the first window and the employee verifies your paper work. Then you will be sent to another window with a form to fill out that the next employee needs to take and type in all the information from. In between window 1 and 2 you can write any age you want on the form the second employee doesn’t verify your paperwork again. When you get your new DL or Identity just call the DMV and tell them they missed up your age and they will correct it. Now you can party at all the clubs and bars, and whatever else your real fake ID will get you.
You probably could change other information, the DMV has some pretty dumb employees, but writing in the wrong date could just be considered a mistake.
