Spoke to Cal yesterday.  He was actually thinking of coming up tp HOPE for the panel.  Still might, but I doubt it.  He said he still has the Elephant and Bird sequel to finish and if it gets done before the panel he'll pass it along, but he doubts it.

I officially won't be able to make it to Hope this year.  One of my other summer activities is overlapping part of Hope.  And it would have been so fun to sit in the audience in a disguise and heckle you guys for an hour.

Now that the Rickroll is done, I'll get started on making sound and video clips.  I'll definitely include the clips that Rogue suggested.  If anyone else has suggestions, then suggest!  I'm sure I'll include at least a few calls that include both me and murd0c, since murd0c will actually be there.  You guys should have bullshit answers prepared for if people ask how you're able to answer customer service calls.  Like beige boxing from the dumpster, kidnapping employees, intercepting their communications with a cantenna, etc.

Yesterday I ordered some more college-style shirts to send out to RTF. I'll send at least 10 of them, for the panel members to wear and then the rest to throw at the audience.  And I'll get started on the media DVDs this week.  One year at Phreaknic, I actually made paper sleeves for them.  Maybe I'll do that again.

as for new content, i'm looking for a good new mob target...i'm trying to find a new auction show or something along that vein, because it's more conducive to playing clips at HOPE.  i love long-form phone mobs like the being here one or the x-zone one that happened ~2 months ago, but they're not really conducive to playing clips since it takes so long for the jokes to unfold.

Set up a speaker phone and put a microphone right next to it so everyone can hear it. Then trick some nearby pizza place into forwarding all their calls to that phone, and then harass the people who mistakenly call in, and let people in the crowd come up and screw with the callers as well.
