I'm A PC Commercial.
« on: September 19, 2008, 10:30:52 PM »
Finally! I don't have to be that ashamed anymore simply because I prefer Windows over Mac. Behold, the new Microsoft commercial:

Maybe now all the cool Mac kids will stop picking on me. Microsoft hereby declares "normal" to be the new "cool".

And in other news, it looks like Bill has made himself a new friend:

People also forget that Macs are silly stupid and didn't have any attention what-so-ever until they released the ipod. Which is another shit device. 200+ for something that's pretty much guaranteed to brick? Sign me up.

I've had mine for years and never any problems with it.

Friend went through three Ivideos or whatever the fuck they're called. Each of the previous ones bricked up after he put some videos on it from Itunes.

Nintendo should get into the person computer business. Think about it: Have you ever had any Nintendo product that didn't work? No. Nintendo doesn't screw around like that.

That's a great idea! You just might have to blow into it a few times before you start it up though.

I can't believe nobody has created a decent internet TV device yet.  Something that simply browses the web and does email.  WebTV did that in 1997, but there's nothing that does very good at that today.  Why not?  That would be the perfect computer for people who suck at computers.

I've wondered that myself. I think the web tv thing came out before it's time. (The first fax machine was patented in 1843)

It would make sense for cable companies to build that capability into their cable boxes.  They could set us up with all kinds of cool shit if they wanted to.  Like visual voicemail on your TV or clickable links during TV shows.

It will happen soon. Look at Fancast.... tv and internet integration is inevitable.

They have things that are kinda like that. I have Dish Network, and sometimes a commercial will come on that says something like, "This just in! Now you can check the news on your TV...yada yada...click "Select" on your remote to launch the application." And after you click select, you have different stuff to chose from. Stuff like "Sports News" *snore*, "Weather" *yawn*, etc.

Also, the website www.Ooyala.com is working on a few pretty neat things. Go check it out.

The cable and phone company I'm with current projects my called I.D. to the T.V. screen. We get a blue bar in the upper left corner giving the information. It's kinda neat really.
