Good thing you posted this when you did else I would have totally forgotten about the payphone numbers I collected the other night. I haven't checked if they take incoming calls or not but I'm going to post them anyway so they don't get lost in my to-do-ha-ha-only-joking-you're-never-gonna-do-this-shit list.

Hours for the store are 7am-10pm Every day
No one will probably pick up at any other time (except around 10:30 when the employees start getting off work) since most everything else in the strip mall closes at 5

Vero Beach is a sleepy little town. 29% of it's population is 65 or older and 24% is 45-64. I don't know at what time exactly everyone holes up but I know there are barely any signs of life at 10:30pm.

(I still haven't called them but from experience I'm assuming...)

They aren't fax tones, those are modems in the COCOT pay phones.

If you or whoever are so inclined, you can attempt to connect to them with whatever terminal program you have. Play around with the settings (parity, etc.) if the text sent is garbled.

Edit: And they should still physically ring before the modem picks up.

Mr. Disney told me to tell you guys that the payphone numbers have been changed because they are switching stuff around.

Remember those Vero Beach payphone numbers I posted? I made a Google Map, mapping their location (Use street view for best results.), providing the various info regarding the environment and added another number. Please rate the map.
