We Should totally do this, It wouldn't take long at all too.  We can just keep Gnome as the WM, and change the little foot to a PLA icon, have tons of links to media PLA TV, make the home page the home page of PLA, have funny sounds, etc..  I can rip down a box someones using to use for the dev if anyone has any ideas post em here!! :D

i support this idea, need skype installed by default so lawdnawd wont have to work so hard. ummm it could have a bluebox redbox.

Make sure that annoying click sound when you open a webpage is set to redbox a nickel. That would be nifty.

Otherwise, I would be happy to help in packaging, maintaining or writing fun apps for it.  *rainbowsmiley*

hell yeah.

I coded a bluebox that works quite well - perlybluebox.pl, and hell yes, it will definitely have Skype installed (thats a given). the redbox sound would be cool, but not over and over again My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself.. and the "later on dickhead" part was hilarious!! My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself., that's definitely gonna be in it.  when you login to the desktop i could make that sound be the cool "cactus" jam brad made with the "hired" voice talents..

Yeah, I was thinking that too, I'm pretty sure we all were. I'm pretty sure I made some PLA icons about 8 years ago. Do you still have them RBCP?

I probably do.  /themes/ exists still, you just can't list directories on phonelosers.org.  I've been needing to make a page for all the 90's-looking icons and mouse pointers I've collected for the past 8 years or so now.

Ok I downloaded the photoshop but when I try to install it GNOME asks me what program I want to open the file with.

CAN I JUST USE THE GIMP/INKSCAPE? WHAT KIND of ICONS or MousePOINTERS do we NEED..

I hope you feel better, sounds like a nasty cold *hippy*
