Starting my own msg board and want to know....

 ::)   ...how did this board get promoted, and/or so many members?? Was it paid time on a server or paid banners?? Thanks if you can help  ::)

Probably 16 years of being around, tons of content and a nonstop parade of 15 year olds obsessed with prank calls had something to do with it.

This message board got promoted simply by being the PLA forum. The PLA already had a good number of followers before this forum existed.

TOTSE died. I belive the 2 poster accounts (spam) and 14 Year olds asking how to make lysol bombs killed their board.

I dont want that trash on mine.  You can ask how fun things can be, but don't make a 1 post account to ask -

I let Cal build up the user base for PLA for a couple years and then BAM!  I stole them all.  I bet that's how he'd describe it anyway.

No way, you stole MY users from the PLA Yahoo List which I changed just for you to the PLA/UPL Yahoo List.  Here's proof!

(Guess I stole all the users from El Jefe in the beginning.)
