Have any of you ever wondered/seen/knows what was in the "For Telco Use Only" box inside TNI boxes?

Mine does have that.  But then again mine is rather old.

Usually a big hairy spider lives there along with lightning protection, either carbon, gastube, or solid state, ground wire connection, possibly a half-ringer for testing purposes, and a drop connection that may have spare pairs. Oh, and sometimes a note to the next phone guy warning them about the weirdo that lives inside.

My TNI box is in my attic so there are always spiders up there.  I hate spiders.

From what I can tell, it's the same thing as any other telephone network interface box. The messages on these types of boxes can differ, depending on the date installed and the carrier.
