Sooooo I'm on Facebook and I notice I have a message from Matt, who's username I forgot.

Matt: "you there Nick? I need your help please...let me know if you are on"

Me: "Im on?"

Matt: "Ohh good you are on, well i'm presently stuck in London and really in a bad situation, you are just like the only one online now i can talk to...can you help with getting on a plane back home?"

Me: "sure, how can i help?"

Matt: "I'm in london on a vocation and a got robbed at a the hotel where I'm staying all my money and my suffs got stolen at a gun point but I'm very lucky i still have my passport with me what i need now is a financial help, can you loan me some money to complete my ticket fee and also get a taxi to the airport, i'll refund you back as soon as i'm back home"

Me: "Whats your username on the PLA website?"

Matt: "Can you just wire what i need more to complete the ticket fee, actually I got some money wired to me earlier to catch a flight back home but I still need few more...you can use western union, thats how I got some money wired to me earlier"

Me: "Tell me your PLA username and i will."

Matt: "Nick, what are you talking about? whats the meaning of PLA?"

Me: "phonelosers.org cactus cactus."

FUCKERS TRYING TO TAKE MY MONEYS!

Matt tried to scam me too!  It's a good thing I was busy doing the Phone Show or I probably would have fallen for it.

you know, i still wouldn't based on the PLA nickname given, i would ask something really off the wall first to make sure.  Matt has my phone number, i would ask him for it.

Kind of off topic trevelyn, but I totally miss the feel of a good Sun Type5 KB  :D

Especially with the Control key in the *PROPER* position!

Every time I see that profile photo it makes me jealous.  But not of the type5 mouse that comes with the set, that thing sucked ass, especially the optical one.

It is, the best.  The optical mouse is actually a laser mouse.  I got with a Sparcstation 20 that had 3 external SCSi Sun tape drives a box full of 12-24 GB tapes mostly used, a 160lb CRT which i pitched, an external Yamaha CD burner (2x) with loading tray, and the steel mousepad for free on craigslist years ago.  It served me well, and i learned a boat-load about Sun hardware and Unix with it.

And on topic of the keyboard: I can't stand the Windows key at all. Or the Apple key either. Get off my keyboard. MY OLD NINE PIN DIED RECENTLY. I NEED TO USE NEW SHIT. OH GAHD.

But my G15 board I use for gaming ain't so bad. It's shiny.

Changed it and while i was changing it he tried to change it back.

So, i wake up this morning to an email saying my account has suspended because of this because they know what happened. Contacted them and this afternoon everything is normal.
