Just Introducing Myself

Thought I'd say hi as it's my first day, I'm a lover of the old school scene born a little too late, but still love where it's gone/going.
I read the rules they seem awesome, more there to protect us than spoil our fun.

Should I make a section for introductions?  Or maybe just a thread.  Maybe THIS thread!

Well I could always make it stick to the top of the forums.  Or I could put in the rules thread "Click here to open a thread where you can introduce yourself."  I don't think introducing yourself to the forums is such a horrible thing.  Lots of forums do that.  Seems like it'd be a good way to get the newbs involved in the conversation.

Many forums have introduction threads. It'd save you time from new n00b introduction posts. [actually, I'm a n00b to this forum, but I haven't been annoying yet...]

Ok, a li'l different here. A welcome thread for everyone to use rather than making one of our own. Noone can flame me for it, I got a link and special instructions from a star shaped lip receptacle. :P

Anyhoo, I found this site about a year ago, but stayed away from forums 'till this last april. Sure I know a good bit about forum decorum but I still expect to get raped.

 I made tons of prank calls assa kid. I used to call a roofing company and leave annoying messages. The guy would sometimes listen and pick up and yell inna Dino-esqe kinda style. The 1st time I ever got in trouble with the law was age 12 when I took a call too far and my freind turned me in to his day old hot dog eating cop stepdad. I called our school's art teacher repeatedly thorughout grade school. So when he smacked my little sister my first reaction was to call a death threat to him, yeah it was too much and too stupid. But, he had it coming, and just knew it was me. So he had my freind's stepdad put pressure on him about it and he folded.

Anyway, it's great to have found the gods of something I think is very clever and hilarious. By the way, I'm old as fuck too.

Well, I'm really, really new to the community - but this phreaking thing has really piqued my interests.  I used to do minor prank calls a few years ago, nothing like under the Prank section though.  It basically consisted of *67 and speaker phone.  We called one old guy repeatedly and found out a lot about his family.  The only way we ever remembered the guys number is cause it made a square pattern on the number pad.

But yeah....Just wanted to know if anyone could give me some links so I can continue learning about this community that I am bound to enjoy.
