who remembers roy.phonelosers.org
« on: November 08, 2009, 12:06:36 AM »
I remember back in the day I use to telnet to roy.phonelosers.org and there would be a phone and you picked options on their bbs.  But it also had some ANSI MUD type game that was really good.  Does any one recall that game?  And better yet can we get that back.  It prob wont happen but it would be a nice thought.

I was never really into the Roy BBS, mostly because I've never been a fan of Wildcat software.  It was a cool setup, though, and it's too bad it's gone now.  I still have a few of my old ANSI screens from the original PLA BBS which I think is what Cal used on Roy.  Someday I'll have to make screen shots and set up a page for them.

The BBS ruled, jerk.  IDLR and I had some nice beige boxed conversations with random people we met on there in the wee hours of the morning.

It was also funny watching TRON flip out when he couldn't get on to LORD.

I made a brief comeback a few months ago which was promptly thwarted by the army deciding that Internetz isn't allowed at basic training.  Dicks.  I'm at medic sk00l now and can tube it up whenever I have free time, so there you go.

Assuming you give every person you treat a dime bag I'm sure everyone will want you on their side once the shit hits the fan. Or the bullet blows a chunk of their leg and/or head off.

If he's lucky, medics tend to be the first ones picked off by snipers.  I miss Ft Sam and passing out drunk on the riverwalk. Good times.

Then all he  has to do is strap all the excessive amount of dime bags he's carrying outside of his person so when the snipers see him they think "Y'know, if I had some of that fantastic mind altering device I could go home without feeling like a total animal and make some brownies." Now at that point the sniper's going to realize that if he shoots DBK, he'll get blood all over the ganja and ruin the flavor because blood smells weird when it burns and I don't imagine it tasting too  terrific either.

Blaze on, DBK. Use your defibrillator to sneak up and shock the hell out of some guy when you're out of ammo. Make sure you put it on their face and balls if possible and then do it.
