Who Wants to Help This Is a Recording

This is an excerpt of an update I just sent the
This Is a Recording mailing list (Which you should join, btw.)

For the next phase, I will be taking down This Is a Recording (The
site with the telephone sounds and recordings /not including/ the
satellite sites) and re adding the sounds from the ground up. There is
a lot of chaff in the wheat and though this will be a tedious process,
based on previous attempts to tame this beast of a website, I think it
will be the best way.

But I need your help. I don't know what some of the more obscure
sounds are and could use help in identifying them. I've set up a forum
for discussion of the sounds and if you think you may be able to help
ID, if you would just be interested in watching the discussion, if you
would like to participate in discussion and polls or just like to see
what you type in print, please join us at http://thisisarecording.com/forum/

Of course, the forums are not limited to sound ID discussion.
