newbs that dont post

In every profile, there is a number at the end, mine being "48", as the 48'th person to join the fourms

But I looked at alll the other profiles of users that signed up for the fourms before me, and only 18/50 actually maintain an active acct on the fourms! (posting more that 5 times ever) Why did all these people sign up and then either never post, or just login once... either case i want to be #17 not #48, thierfore making me more 1337 somehow.

All of the newer users (the past 100 or so) have to click on a link in their email to activate their accounts.  So that makes it even stranger, that they bother to sign up for an account and actually go to the trouble of clicking on the link to activate it.  Maybe they just want to send fan mails to Countykid.
