Aww Crap a Trojan Snuck Up on Me!

Great. So here I am updating my Windows Media Player and it turs out a Trojan snuck onto my system.

I do have an Anti-Virus program and ran it 8 times and I belive the Trojan is quarentiend, but my computer keeps on saying its still a Critical Systems Error.

Can somebody please tell me whats up and what to do. I do not wan't to let the dipshit on the other end know my passwords and stuff!

The "Critical Systems Error" sound like something now from windows, but rather the trojan, do you have a picture of the warning?

Guess what, problem solved. I just have to re-scan and cancle a bank transaction now.

Just bewear when you download windows updates. What happend was a Trojan descused as a Windows Media Player update faked a virus call and sent me to a website. This is were I downloaded new anti-spyware softwear to get rid of the stuff on there.

The Ani-Spywear that I paid for turned out to be teh Spywear that was on my system, this is why the fake window's aleart would not go away.

I dunno if I should feel noobish now, because the website looked compleatly legit and the User-Agrement mentioned noting about malicous code nore that they are responcable for any damages and such.

All I know is whoever did this scam will not get my money.

So yay, I feel alot better now. No harm done, though it could have been alot worse!

Ok I will run future stuff through spell check, I am sorry that one of the many parts of my fried brain has to do with spelling...along with handwrighting, deph perception, and memory. Guess I cannot be as perfict as you people.

Er, yea I do man. Did you not read about me having a nurological disorder? Point out my spelling mistakes and if my damaged nurological side of my brain can hear it it will log it and try to avoid those mistakes the next time. Saying "SPELL BETTER!!!" will not help anything here. That would be like telling a person with a Torrets to stop randomly saying stuff and then expect them to do it with their brain's wired like that.
