« on: December 25, 2010, 10:01:56 AM »
Hey i picked up a old motorola MICROtac 650e off Ebay,
And I think its analog. And every time a try to place a call, I get the No Signal Light and tone. Then it asks me for the Ant. Number, Does anyone know IF and If, how can i make it work?

Analog cellular phones don't work anymore because AMPS was discontinued in the United States in 2008. Save for a few places where analog service is needed, you're not going to be able to get that phone to make or receive phone calls except emergency calls.

I have an old Tracfone in a storage container that I believe is analog. It's got a monochrome screen. I should probably take it to Target to get recycled.

Fuck that, use the nokitel code on it and get sporadic free calls for a while!
