I discovered a feature in SMF that lets you ban somebody for a specified number of days.  I just banned z09 for 3 days.  So he sends me an email that says, "What did I do?  Seriously I'm stumped."  His problem is that he really doesn't seem to see a problem with his actions.  He thinks he should be able to post a credit card number.

Ugh, what am I doing.  This is stupid.  I'm getting rid of him for good this time.  Try back in 2010, z09.  Seriously.  Don't beg for your account back.  Don't email me 100 times whining about it.  Don't send me more money.  Just go away and don't come back.  Be sure to complain to everyone about what a huge injustice this is and how I'm treating you so unfairly.  Don't forget to point out all the good things you've done for me since you've been here in attempt to make yourself sound like more of a victim.

And since you'll have so much extra time that you won't be spending on the forums, try this experiment.  Sign up on a bunch of other forums and on each one try your shit there.  Post your own Visa credit card number.  Put 1000 pixel images in your sig line.  Impersonate other users.  Create multiple accounts.  Send a dozen pointless emails and PMs to the site admin.  See how well all that goes over on other forums.  It'll be a fun experiment!

I felt like making a "keep z09 banned" thread yesterday, but I decided against it in the name of good will. Gut instincts seem invariably correct. I would like to offer my liege to Murdoc for succeeding where I failed in the name of the PLA.

Try to call his ISP and social engineer his account information out of them. Just tell them you're a cable/telco tech (depending on if he has DSL or cable) and you're trying to sort out wires, and you need the account information for his IP. Then send his $20 back.

edit: Another idea, maybe you could tell them you're calling from the Orange County Superior Court about a subpoena issued for his account details. It's probably very illegal though. (Do at your own risk.)
