Downgrad Mac os 10.4.11 to 10.2 or 10.3?

I have a old G4 Ibook that has OS 10.4.11 on it, I need to downgrade to  10.2 or 10.3. Ive tried just downloading 10.2 and inserting the cd but that didnt work.  Can anyone help me out on how to achieve this?

Hey so do you know what mac os shipped with your iBook? Cause you cannot install an earlier version of OSX than the one that shipped with it. (If i remember my iBook G4 shipped with 10.3) If you have the model # you can look up what it was shipped with. Though I do not see why you would have to downgrade, 10.2, and 10.3 apps should work on 10.4

software i use has some issues with 10.4 so id like to downgrade to either 10.2 or 10.3.  The patch required isnt avail for 10.4 anymore and the software isnt supported by the programmer either.

Alright, so then do you know which iBook you have, (model #) or do you even remember when you purchased it? (if you're the original owner). Because as I said above, if it shipped with 10.4 your SOL, but if it shipped with 10.3 you CAN downgrade saying you find the right disk.
