I run off of Dark Fiber from a university with 20Mbps down, you try finding that for cheap.

I don't know, a lot of stuff is fucked up with my connection...

Dark fiber  means fiber that's not used by anybody. So there's no light going through it hence the name.  So yourconnection can't be "dark fiber".

I try not to be the politically incorrect one, but that' is the "terminology" they give to it... not me.

Why they call it that is beyond me ???

The connection is through OARnet which ties into MAE-East.

Soo...  it was probably dark at one point,  maybe they kept the name because it makes it sound like you are getting something special.
