I really hate when our people hold down a dtmf tone to try to get the Anti Hackers off the bridge.  Not only does it not work for its intended purpose but it shows a cowardice on the side of the person doing it.

I tend to disagree. For one thing, speaking to him just makes him feel more important than he really is. By just playing that audio tone every time he speaks on the bridge, it just shuts him up and disallows conversation.

Besides, it is a 1000 Hz tone, not a DTMF tone.
