I will try to be a short as possible,

Windows is a great system especially if you want to set up a corp. network where you may have people not much into technology. It may monopolized everything and Billy bob Gates might be the devil itself but he found a solution to include every human being into the computer world and that's great.
 
I just love to plug a device and watching the system doing everything for me without the need of do anything but enjoying the shit.   
So why all the hate against Billy Bob?? simple; because he succeeded that's it, let's admit it, you would love to be inside his shoes.

The problem with Windows is their crappy hardware support. Linux now supports a shitload more hardware than Windows.

Yet my two fairly new wi-fi cards which are not supported by ANY Linux distro and the driver can't be emulated through the wrapper without my system freezing. My keyboard also can't be mapped to include some of the alt functions for Windows. My modem is also unsupported, as are my s-video port (unsupported video card) and my mic jack (unsupported sound card).

This is using the newest Ubuntu distro, the newest Slackware distro, and most other non-commercial linux distros, all on a 5 year old laptop (to show that none of the hardware is too new to be supported) on Wi-Fi cards that are all 2-3 years old.

Correction: Billy Bob Gates COPIED the solution to include every human being into the computer world.  The only reason Bill is more successful at it is because PC's have always been much cheaper than Macs.

fuck windows then, i don;t care what you say about bill gates or microsoft - WIndows in my opinion is shit.
i have many computers in my house running Linux and Solaris and unix, every piece of hardware runs smoothly This isnt the message board for losers who hate linux, or losers who cant compile their kernels correctly.  Just a forum for losers who like phones.  My kernels r0x and i will never own another windows based pc again in my life.  I have to deal with them here at work, and that's as far as it will *ever* go. 

rbcp is right in saying some people like cars to drive in, some people like fixing up cars, and modding them.

my machines are manipulated by me, for me. (around 5 linux, 2 unix, 1 mac, 1 solaris (all in the same room   ok))  I like modding them, i like driving them.  When i am at work i see machines not modded by me, that proudly advertise Windows XP on every screen, and each time they wreck *i* have to fix them and something just built up inside of me. 

microsoft and bill gates are fine,and i am not jealous.  Though it would be nice to have lots of money, i'd rather be good at something i love than be successful with something i despise.

sounds like a great piece of hardware man, keep up the good work. the wifi cards need to be a good chipset manufacturer, I didn't know GOODWILL made computers?? hmm, fascinating.
