Recently, carpet manufacturers have come up with the encapsulation technology. This cleaning process makes the job lighter because the cleaning chemicals attract the dirt and soil from the carpet and is then removed by cleaning equipment. This technology of carpet cleaning is ideal for bonnet cleaning as well as hot water extraction. In like manner, the carpet cleaning materials used in encapsulation technology are formulated with the proper balance of detergents. In this way, you can ensure that it will not damage the carpet fibers. Therefore, the encapsulation process is the most effective approach that is widely used nowadays.

You know the economy is bad when people start advertising for floor cleaning products in a forum dedicated to phreaking and prank phone calls. At least they're kind enough to give us a company link to point both guns at.
NEAT-O TORPEDO!
-
Haha, this should be fun.
Hey murd0c, don't delete this thread or their account, please. :)
-
I wasn't gonna! My floors are fucking filthy!
-
If you can find their fax number anywhere, be sure to use faxzero.com to send them some free porn.
-
Haha...I came into this thread just to ask murd0c not to delete it, but I see that's been covered. Excellent!
-
Local businesses send forum spam now? You think they do blood stains? They post the names and cities of customers on the testimonials page. I found two phone numbers whose info match perfectly and a few others that are likely correct. Perhaps they would like to be on the Phone Show.
-
I just made a couple more calls to the first two people on the testimonials page (http://www.messyfloors.com/?4). Last night we called these two people several times, but I can't remember what happened with them. Here are the calls from a few minutes ago.
http://www.phonelosers.org/stuff/burnscarpet_nelson.mp3 (http://www.phonelosers.org/stuff/burnscarpet_nelson.mp3)
http://www.phonelosers.org/stuff/burnscarpet_butterwick.mp3 (http://www.phonelosers.org/stuff/burnscarpet_butterwick.mp3)
Here is a Google search (http://www.google.com/search?q=link%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.messyfloors.com%2F&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a#q=link:http://www.messyfloors.com/&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=jMS&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&prmd=ivns&tbm=dsc&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=UjkwTpWjMZOisAPvx6GZAQ&ved=0CDAQmAcwAw&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=9eb5b0accb181764&biw=1440&bih=760) showing the other places this company has spammed. They probably did more than is shown, but it was deleted by admins. Here is another link (http://www.google.com/search?q=Messyfloors-1%40hotmail.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a), using their email address from their PLA forums account. Lots more from that link.
So far we've only managed to find the phone numbers of the first two people on the testimonials page. If anyone can find others, that would be super. I ran all the names through NetDetective and pipl.com, but no luck. Maybe Burns changes the names if the customers ask them to.
I also called Burns today and talked to a receptionist (http://www.phonelosers.org/stuff/burnscarpet_the_receptionist.mp3). She seems to think I'm rude.
-
This is excellent..
-
If any of the other's numbers are found, should call them and ask if they want to do some new promo videos that are a bit more risqué...
Also, regarding changing the names, I didn't watch all of them but it seems they say their name in the beginning of the video..
-
hahahahahahaah! I just went back to see if they say their names (they do) and I just noticed the site has removed the last names from all the video testimonials now
-
I have two more numbers of customers that I managed to track down. Maybe you can call them on the Fun Show tonight.
-
I tried calling their 1-877 number to get their fax number, but it seems y'all are keeping them busy, because all I could get was voicemail. So since I was calling from a payphone (yes, I'm that careful not to get caught), I took the opportunity to call the number several times so they'd have to pay Embarq for each one of those calls (there is a reason why 1-800 COLLECT charges higher rates for payphone calls). Fail on their part for not refusing payphone calls!
-
I spoke with the receptionist and tried to get their fax number but the bitch wouldn't give it to me, which is unusual because usually companies will gladly give that to you.
-
Going to need to acquire a recording program. They aren't very polite about cleaning carpets that may or may not have been rolled up to potentially, not confirming or denying, the transportation of people who may or may not of owed money to a collective interest of people with a fine taste in pasta and pin stripe suits.

Here's my email exchange with Paul from messyfloors.com. I emailed the address that registered here on the forums and the address from their website.
ME: Thanks for spamming your carpet cleaning link on our prank call forums. We've been having a great time prank calling your customers from the testimonials page, pretending that we're with Burns. :)
PAUL: What on earth are you talking about?
ME: Haha, you removed their names from the page! It's okay, I'd already
written them all down. I hope your campaign of spamming forums on the
internet is working out. We're going to call some more tonight.
Also, your receptionist has a real attitude problem. Could you please
ask her to be nicer?
http://www.phonelosers.com/index.php?topic=6764.0;topicseen
PAUL: Brad,
I have looked into this because it was no doing of mine. What I found out was that my SEO person that I use out of India used that email address and he does post to forums. Everyone in the SEO world does it and I am confused as to what trouble it caused you. I emailed him and made it very clear he is not to be doing any such thing or using any other method that would inconvenience anyone or impede on their business. He said if you can supply me the forum name or whatever he posted on he would immediately remove it. I am just shocked that you would call people and use profanity and cary on the way you have. Again I apologize for whatever inconvenience I have caused you and or your business so please let it go.
Paul
ME: Only if you or him come into our thread and sincerely apologize for spamming us. http://www.phonelosers.com/index.php?topic=6764.0;topicseen
-
post more calls. this is awesome
-
We haven't made any new ones, but godot did give us more numbers of their customers. And since Paul didn't come on here and apologize to us and his hired spammer didn't remove the post, I assume that he's fine with us continuing. Even though I feel stupid now, with Paul telling me that EVERYONE does this and it's caused us no trouble at all.
-

Holy shit batman even the spammers are being outsourced these days.

EVERYONE does this
haha I was just getting ready to comment on this... I guess that's what's been missing from my SEO- forum spamming. I really don't understand how anyone could not see why randomly spamming a community is hugely annoying

And in this case detrimental to your business.
-
and any right minded person wouldnt spam a prank call and phone phreak community... You should try and get the name of his company he uses for his SEO.
-
I Just read this on their website
P.S. We were recently listed as a premium services provider on ethicalservices.com which is listed on the ABC's 20/20 website as atop resource to find an ethical carpet cleaning company.
im sure this could go somewhere with the receptionist being a bitch.
Did anyone get their fax number?
-
the cleaning we will give you and one of our competitors could give you was identical (chemicals, experience etc.) accept
for the truck you would receive a far superior cleaning from us....hands down
http://messyfloors.com/?13
don't they know the difference between accept and except?
-
that sentence is all kinds of fucked up, grammatically speaking
-
pretty much how most of the site is written...
i am really not sure why the text is formatted the way that it is on their site, it looks strange with the spacing and line breaks where they are.. did they check it with only a single browser, in only a single screen size resolution and assume that it was good?
-
Maybe the guy from India did all the proofreading on the site too.
-
We called Cindy Murphy on The Prank Show tonight. Thanks again, godot! It was the right lady. Rob told her that we used the wrong chemicals and that it was slowly eating through her carpet. Tried to get her to smell her husband's feet to test and see if her carpets were infected, but that's when she got suspicious and hung up.
-
Tina Craig looks like someone fun to call if you can get her number. I found her Facebook, maybe if I can convince her to add one of my sockpuppet accounts I can get some goodies from there.
http://www.facebook.com/tina.craig2
Additionally, I wonder if they realize that by placing their spam in the middle of a phreak forum they've opened the door for all of this and it's completely legal to prank them because, technically speaking, they solicited it.
-
Cyclopath, don't ever consider a career as a lawyer. :)
-
But he should consider a career path as a sock puppet lawyer. For the better of man, after all.

Try calling during the morning; I had the same problem calling during the day but I was able to reach Tina during the morning.
Perhaps they'd like to listen to Rick Astley next time they check their voicemail? Or maybe "Cactus! Cactus! Cactus!"? Maybe you could ask them to call you back and give them the phone number for a morgue, a prostitute, or water treatment plant, or something else funny like that?
-

I hope you did so using Voip and/or a payphone... Here's why (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_number_identification).

No, but I did use other means, plus the fact I do not even own any phone service in my name. Its not like Voips are un-traceable either.. but regardless, its not like its illegal to call or prank them
Unless you're just saying so they won't recognize when I call back, in which case that won't be a problem either

It doesn't need to be untraceable, it's obviously better to have more distance between you and them.
Also, this is beyond "a call" or "a prank call." I know this wouldn't happen in this case but let's just pretend you got caught and you told the cops and judge who have read this thread you were "just making a call"; they wouldn't believe you.
Here's a story about pranking an anger management hotline which was likely an 800 number using ANI (http://www.phonelosers.org/2008/12/kids-dont-prank-crisis-hotlines/)
-
I hadn't read that story before. That's really interesting and good info to have. I do take other cautionary steps when pranking though, just in case
-
I thought, surely there must be a treasure trove of customer info on their FB page... but no.. only 1 person likes The Burns Team
If you can get her number, call her and say since she was the first person to "Like" them, The Burns Team wants to show their appreciation by giving her 3 free carpet cleaning sessions. The problem is tapping their PBX box when she calls in.
Her: What do you mean I don't free carpet cleaning? Some guy called me yesterday.
Then: I don't know what you're talking about.
Her: Well SCREW YOU!
Alternately call and tell them you just purchased a hotel franchise. And you want to keep the hotel clean for your guest. Tell them you want the entire hotel cleaned. Make sure you tell them money is no object and name their price.
After they get their hopes up, give them an address for an abandoned building or a local Walmart.
Come to think of it, if Dex or any copycat trashes a hotel by proxy, you can call the Burns Team to clean the carpet that got messed.
You gotta even the balance somehow. *rainbowsmiley*

So what's the secret to getting people's phone numbers and mailing addresses? What do you do when you can't find them in the phone directory or the property appraiser's website? What if they have an extremely common name?
-
i'm pretty impressed with the pipl website RBCP posted earlier in this thread
-
good stuff!

My 3 favorite sites to get unlisted numbers are www.pipl.com, www.zabasearch.com and www.netdetective.com. A friend of mine has a paid account on NetDetective. Each of those sites can sometimes find info that the others can't. Lately pipl.com seems to be the best one.
-
Both of the fax numbers listed at the Better Business Bureau have been disconnected.
Thanks for the links to those websites RBCP
