Today is a sad day, a very very sad day.
Today I learned a life lesson. When I went to the beach this morning, I forgot I had my phone in my pocket. I walked into the water and immediately thought "shit I have my phone in my pocket don't I". I checked my pocket and their it was, wet and off. I then sprinted up to the shore, towel dried my phone, and let it dry in the sun for an hour.
I decided then the car would be a better place to dry it hoping the immense heat in the vehicle would vaporize the remaining H2O. I tried and tried to turn my phone one but no luck, all I got was a flashing screen.
When I got home I hit up a can of compressed air and let it rip in my phone, then I gave it a heat cycle with the blow dryer. Still no luck. Eventually I got it to load up to the start menu with minor flickering of the screen, but then stupidly I took out the battery only to see it fail once more.
It currently rests charging on my floor, with its screen flickering like a strobe light.
Should I give up on trying to revive my baby, or should I start building its grave and carving its coffin. Any helpful tips on reviving it would be nice.
