POLICE SCANNER

SO i use to be into phone phreaking but got out of it for a while and now im looking to start up again and i wanted to start with the most basic of items   a police scanner    All of the new ones on the market seem to have had the cell phone frequencies blocked and seeing that the hole fun of a police scanner is listening to peoples phone calls  i was wondering if anyone knew where i could purchase a scanner that allows cell phone frequencies  or if there was anyway i could hack the one i get      also will these scanners pick up mobile house phones  my old one never did   only corded phones

It's true, waves broadcast out of the telephone cord but on a different frequency than cordless. Older model police scanners were only capable of picking up these ultra-low frequency waves because capacitors back then couldn't be made smaller than 1Mf, and the modulators could only cycle between 10 and 12.

does any body know some underground site were you can buy police radios and stuff.I want something like that and i heard that the big rigs and trains have radios similar to the police ones and it would be cool to have something like that were you could talk to people on

ill do that.The cops here dont do shit a neigbor threaten to punch my moms teeth out and walk around with them in his pocket and just this morning my dad had his truck stolen.im not joking they didnt do shit and we talked to the place that keeps records of the incidents and found out that the cops didnt write anything down for all the times our neighbor threatened us,the worst part is that he even admitted that he threatened us but the copswouldnt do shit and i very much doubt that my dad will get his truck back ibet that it was our neighbor that stole it since hes done shit like that before.So i doubt that the cops would care if i stole one of their radios

The police dept isn't a free 24/7 conflict resolution service, what your neighbor was doing is not illegal and even if the cop arrested her she wouldn't be prosecuted. All cops can do after an auto theft is to take a report and enter the info into NCIC, what the fuck else do you expect? When you start screwing with a cop's car and equipment that's when it gets personal, he's the one that'll get bitched at by his supervisor for losing a thousand dollar radio and have to do paper. The chances of you finding a handheld radio are slim, and it's not like you're going to pry a mobile radio out of the dash. Then you don't have the charger, and I'm certain you'd get caught after you show off.
