I just had to kill a rabbit. I've never had to kill anything before. My dog attacked it, and it was dark outside so I couldn't really see. And I had to jump on my dog and wrestle him down to get it out of his mouth. But by that time the rabbit (whom I named Ivory) was badly injured. His intestines and stomach were hanging out and his back legs were broken. After caring for Ivory for almost 2 hours, little bugs began to cover him and I was forced to end his suffering. So now I'm really depressed. Someone please cheer me up.

This'll cheer you up. If you had just let the dog finish with it then it wouldn't have suffered in horrible pain for two hours while you tried to play vet. Also, you don't name animals that are food items. EVER.

Was this a pet ? If so, why were you letting it run around outside in the first place? You're lucky it was your dog, who you know isn't rabid, that got it. Imagine if a rabid wild animal got it. Then, if your bit or scratched you, you'd have to go through several rounds of rabies vaccinations, none of which are pleasant.

Three final words: Spanish Rabbit Stew. You should have made like the Natives and made sure the widdle bunny's body didn't go to waste. Waste is a sin.
