I used to get banned from #jesus on EFnet a lot. They had this bot that would recite bible verses (like you type "!kjv ezekiel 23:20" and the bot recites it). I would have it recite verses which were offensive and they would kickban me for reciting the offensive disgusting bible. Once I had the bot recite verses with "shit" hidden in them and the anti-swearing bot would go to war with the bible bot which would go to war with all the various guardian bots, kicking and banning each other and so on sometimes for days.

I don't really get how they figured out your docs, or why you thought they'd somehow beat you up.

I wasn't thinking when I signed up, and since it required email confirmation for registering, I gave my campus email address. My school "rocks", and has the name/email directory for all students and staff on their web server, and forgot to block out spiders from the robots.txt file, so it got cached in Google. They also had the "massmail" addresses (students@xx.edu, etc) listed on there, so we got spammed hardcore. We also have a student directory with everyone's # and address listed (hardcopy, not online), so with the email they get my name, and with name they get other info. When I got banned, the admin who banned me is the one who released everything they had.

IE: I was stupid and should've just used my gmail acct.

I got banned from a library for pushing a shitload of books out from one stack onto people in the next aisle. In my mind I was recreating the library scene from Ghostbusters where the books fly.

Anyone who gets on freenode using the name zewb is automatically banned from #ubuntu and #debian. They've banned me constantly since early 2007 for trolling. The guys in #debian actually threatened to send irc logs to my ISP and have my service cancelled for harassment, because I kept going in under different proxies and DCCing the channel. Some of them tried to root my server, and failed miserably because only certain whitelisted IPs can ssh in.

I was also g-lined from freenode on several occasions for poking fun at Rob Levin and his fatal bicycle accident. I got g-lined for saying he should have worn a helmet, I got g-lined for asking why someone on disability would ride a bike in traffic, and most recently, I got g-lined for claiming to have seen Rob Levin at Freebird's Burritos in Houston, Texas.

And I also got banned from the PLA forums for trolling, and putting huge3.jpg in my sig.

I got banned from an EFnet server once. I was using the name Godot, and some guy PMed me, mistaking me for some other guy. I played along, and he invited me into this channel, and everyone seemed really excited to see me. Apparently, one of those people was an IRCop of the server I was connected to. When he found out that I wasn't really the Godot he knew, he Klined me.
