I just read the NYT article and it says this:
Seltzer has never checked the voice messages because she doesn't have the PIN. And besides, she says, "I wouldn't feel right doing it. It's a private thing."
So now that the voice mailbox is full, is her great idea completely fucked? She's going to have to invade her dead husband's privacy and get the pin reset. Hopefully Verizon Wireless doesn't insist on giving her the new pin by texting it to the phone's handset like they usually do.
