If you take nothing else from this thread. These are a couple things that will more or less remain true.

Does this apply even for skype?  If I'm using skype then I wouldn't think it would really matter where I called, but PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong.

This is true for harmless pranks (never prank locally!) but according to TSG, this child rapist guy is being extradited to Louisiana to face charges on one of his pranks.

I don't think that would have happened if he were not already in custody by locals, though. But that's just my opinion..

Both of the guys arrested from PrankNET were using Skype, pranking local businesses.

And yeah, Zazen, I guess you're right about that.  Otherwise the feds would need to get involved.

Wow, PrankNET kicked me off their Twitter.  I tried to follow them and I get the message, "You have been blocked from following this account at the request of the user."  Guess they hate me now.  I hope they don't call me and make me break my windows.

Whatever happened to Dex and PrankNet?  Their website is still down, their YouTube is suspended and their tweets have been erased.  I checked Google for any new news articles, but there's nothing recent.  Did Dex ever get arrested?  Did he quit the show?  Is it still continuing as always?

Maybe he moved and only took the regulars with him? Or maybe he decided it was time to stop being an asshole and grow up.

Dex did not get arrested and he is still active in the room.  Prank calls have picked up agian but there is no distrucsion prank calls anymore such as getting people to break windows.

what a moron, you have no idea what as been going on so you might as well not say anything My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself.. No dex did not get arrested, no one except for the pedos did. and don't act like this was the only place that has pedos on the internet. pranks still continue, but as the master said, no breaking windows etc..

Senior Citizen falls victim to Motel 6 prank

Here's a brand new PrankNet news story:

According to the Smoking Gun, Joseph Jones, 73, was sleeping in a Motel 6 room in Spartanburg, S.C. late Sunday evening when he was awakened by a phone call.

The male caller, who identified himself as a hotel administrator, spun out a bizarre story about a prior guest having left “highly sophisticated cameras” in the guest’s room. The man told Jones that “he would tell him what to do to get rid of them,” according to a Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office report.

At the caller’s direction, Jones took the ceramic toilet tank cover and smashed the television (presumably a hiding place for a hidden camera). Since the cover shattered without breaking the TV, the caller told Jones “to throw the TV outside and he did.” Jones was then told that cameras were “behind the mirrors and that he needed to smash them.” The guest complied, grabbing a wrench he had in the room to smash the mirrors.
