As I am in my last years of high school I am starting to think of a good carrer to get started in. I've thought about getting into computers, but computer literate people come a dime a dozen now so not that much money would be involved. I've thought about being a operator or a lineman but they get paid shit. I'm trying to think of a job that gets paid at least $55,000 a year.
After listening to episode 2 and 8, I've tried and accomplished every meathod of Social Engeneering RBCP has talked about and I have tried and accomplished new ones. All of last week I was on an Island with some of my friends and they kept getting prank calls from a weird number. One of them was all like "I'm so leet, I will call 411 and have them do a reverse lookup on the number". He did and it was a cell phone number so no luck. I thought I would try calling sprint (the phone company) and getting it out of them. I did. We didn't do much with the information but it was kinda cool. Then they had me look up phone numbers of people they hated, out of 7 I got 5 of them. Then the next day I decided why not make the people pay. I told them that I would look up names, numbers, and addresses for $5. We got other people to do busisness with, and I made $25. I thought, wow, this would be cool to do professionally. Then it hit me! I should be a Private Investigator.
When I got home I googled Private Investigator to get some information on the job. I wikipedia artical told me that they got paid only about $30,000 a year. But others claimed that it was between $40,000 - $80,000. I'm sure somebody here knows a PI or has wanted to be one. Does anybody know about how much they make?
