My plan is to just sort of show up and hope I can get a hold of somebody while I'm there.  If not, I can always sleep in the ol' truck.  Yay!

Or hope IDLR decides to come and use his free hotel room credit card rewards.

Yeah, I'll probably show up around 2pm or something.  Not entirely sure if I'm flying solo or riding with the IDLR yet, so can't say with any certainity.  Also not sure whether or not I'm actually buying a Defcon badge yet.

I can't remember if we've mentioned this yet in this thread, but it's not a difficult thing to sneak all the non-badge-buying people from PLA into the vendor and speaking areas.  We just loan those people our badges for a few minutes to get them in and then one of us takes all their badges once they're in to let another batch of people in.  So I suggest that if money is tight for you, fuck buying a badge.  I'll help sneak people in if I buy one.  I'll even loan out my badge if I leave the con and if I think I can trust the person not to steal it or do something crazy to get their badge taken away.

Everyone bridge extra lanyards and random badges from past cons to help camouflage the fact that you're walking around without a badge.  I'll bring some of my own for others to borrow.

My new plan is to attempt to catch a ride to LV with Sudo, sleep on the streets, and then rent a car and drive home on the 6th.  She is not aware of this plan.
